Coaching Journeys
WMF Essex have been active since November 2018 running weekly football sessions for players of all abilities ages 4-12. Since our launch, we have seen a tremendous rate of growth not only player number wise but also in the quality at each session too.
That is largely down to the fantastic coaches and staffing group that is coming together here. Our professionally driven coaches have focused on their development and building a pathway in football, whilst delivering excellent sessions to local players.
Due to the rapid growth of our centres and new sessions coming to the area, we are always on the lookout for new coaches to fit into our team. We have multiple vacancies at the moment and are currently interested in any coaches who meet the following criteria:
- Enthusiastic and Reliable
Above everything else, we are looking for football loving coaches who LOVE coaching and developing young players. Every coach must be dependable and accepting of their responsibilities when working to WMF's high standards.
- Level 1 / Level 2 / UEFA B Qualified
We have roles and opportunities for coaches who are in all stages of their own development and journey.
Our paid positions are perfect for experienced coaches who require additional hours on the grass to help their development and coaching techniques, but also coaches who are perhaps beginning on their coaching pathway and would love to further their own journey by working with academy standard / experienced coaches and coaching on academy standard drills and sessions.
We have a great coach pathway in place which enables all coaches to clearly see what is required and what can be done to help them improve, but also progress within the team. 
- Volunteer Coaches willing to learn and improve
At We Make Footballers we appreciate that every person's journey must start somewhere, whether that is a player's...or a coaches.
We are very happy to help new / young coaches on their pathway. Providing them with training, guidance and direct working access to qualified/experienced coaches too. We also offer quarterly / annual reviews with targets and goals that hopefully help each coach on their way to paid roles.
- Coaches who are local to our centres
As We Make Footballers grow across the UK, each franchise will have a duty to ensure opportunities are given to those in their local communities. At WMF Essex we are very aware of the huge passion, popularity, and high standards of the football community in our local area. We are passionate about building upon that and helping improve it where we can, therefore will always look to give priority to coaches who meet the required criteria and live locally too.
We pride ourselves on providing top quality coaching, along with fun, intense and dynamic sessions, to all players (boys and girls) of all abilities aged 4 - 12. Our sessions currently run on Monday and Friday evenings in the Hornchurch and Romford/Dagenham areas. This will increase to more days as we enter the 2019/20 season.
