We Make Footballers run over 100 weekly football coaching sessions for children across the south east of England. The Carshalton Academy is based at Carshalton High School for Girls and training takes place on both Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings for children of all abilities aged between four and 12.

Aimed at slightly younger kids, Tumble Tots was established in 1979 by Bill Cosgrave, the coach of the British Olympic Gymnastics team at the 1986 Olympics in Mexico City. Since then, Tumble Tots have grown to have over 300 centres across the United Kingdom which provide a structured physical play programme for kids aged between six months and seven years old.

The nearest Tumble Tots centre to Carshalton is in Croydon. Here, a child takes part in fun activities which include parachutes, gymnastics, balancing games, relay races and much more besides.

Classes aren’t just restricted to physical activity either. Tumble Tots devote segments of sessions to learning about different body parts and languages through rhymes and action songs, providing a mental workout as well as physical exercise.
